Glacial Trail Hike 2016

posted Mar 31, 2016, 7:41 PM by Steve Riebe
We are trying to determine how much interest there would be in doing a hike along the Ice Age trail the first weekend in May (May 6-8,2016). We hike through the Northern Kettle Moraine State Forest and typically set up camp in one of the camping areas, such as Mauthe Lake Recreation Area. This is all located very close to home, being about 20 miles South/West of Plymouth, WI. It is a great opportunity for Scouts signed up for High Adventure to ensure they are prepared for the full trip coming in July. It is also a great trip for any Scout that enjoys hiking and taking advantage of an incredible resource close to home. We hike about 25 miles over the course of the weekend.

Scouts and adults are welcome.

Please come to our next Troop Meeting, April 4, ready to sign up if you are interested. We only have a short time to secure our camping location(s) and register. There is an online form in the Resource Center.
